How to Achieve Your Most Ambitious Goals | Stephen Duneier | TEDxTucson

We All Are Self-Hypnotized

We are all self-hypnotized, each and every one of us in their own way, some more and some less, but we all have our constant thoughts, those repeated every day more or less continuously, and our constant beliefs, those for which we fight and defend. Our self-hypnosis is what we believe we are and we keep it stable and reinforce it, repeatedly reminding it to ourselves through recurring repetitions. I am this, I am that, I am rich, I am poor, I am invincible, I will never make it, money is the root of evil.

There is no escape; we are all in it, only in a different percentage way. This percentage of involvement in our self-hypnosis is determined by our level of consciousness, which means how aware we are to be in it. We clearly notice it when, for example, we listen to those who state their status with authority: I will never be rich because those who are rich have stolen, or, politicians are all thieves, or, I'll never be successful because I do not want to drop my pants in front of anyone.

Without judging the extent of each one's self-affirmation - which is irrelevant because whatever it is, it is a cage - we simply notice that this is a universal occurrence, at least in the realm of the human's mind: I'm better than everyone because I made millions. I'm better than everyone because I'm poor and I've never stolen.

The percentage varies according to awareness. Those of us who know this mechanism and recognize it when it takes action in themselves, can also take distance from it, perhaps just for a fraction of a second, but that's enough because when we observe it we're no longer identified with it and enjoy a micro-moment of freedom. Who cannot observe it, is totally identified with it and, alas, at the moment at least has no possibility of redemption.

Moreover, those who are able to observe it have another option in their hands, that of using this identification to their advantage, which is to exploit for their own interests - even these part of a self-hypnosis - who is totally or almost, prey of their own, others and universal emotional waves, and is submerged.

How do you take advantage of our personal hypnosis - you might ask - when we are totally involved and stable in our belief that we are what we are? It is quite simple, I seduce you by inflating your conviction and then I insert it into mine, making you do what I want since you're still convinced to be within yours. When we are in it, we cannot see outside. We are one with the illusion.

The fact is that we are not this and not even that. Basically, we are not the game but players and players play any game following the rules of the game. If we do not know the rules, we play badly or we do not play at all, perhaps believing to play and even well or cunningly. But those who know the rules know it and make of us what they want.

The only way to know the rules and play well is to observe, learn and apply them, associating with those who know more than us at the moment, to speed up the process of learning and practice and create a fracture in the bubble of our self-hypnosis.

But when we walk alone, the path is sometimes longer; how do we know that who we associate with is not taking advantage of our level of consciousness? There is only one way: observing, learning and applying. The only way out is the way in. And who knows, maybe we are the greatest puppeteers of all time.

WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER LOSE HOPE

Wisdom From the Universe: How Do I Change My Life Now?

Life establishes a rhythm and a pattern. Days go by and it may seem as if the world around you is evolving but somehow your life is stuck or never changing, growing, or moving forward. Perhaps it is a pattern of work, debt, struggle, pain, searching, and wanting a better life that constantly surrounds your working thoughts each day.

When you can no longer feel a sense of peace, because your thoughts are overshadowed by the reality of life, this is when you wish for change the most. The worse the conditions of life are perceived to be, the more urgent the need for change becomes.

A person may begin to feel the need to plead to a higher power or supreme being in an attempt to cause changes. And for many, when their lives do not change, it can lead to a sense of frustration and despair.

A universal truth is this: Life can challenge you. Life can cause you pain. Life can make it hard to know how you will ever get ahead when all you can see is the same set of circumstances from day to day. Life holds no guarantees, even if a person is born into perfect circumstances.

Maybe you want more for your life, career, or to wake up with a sense of hope about circumstances. Right now you may be faced with many challenges, from those of a physical nature, to those which are more emotional or spiritual. There may even be added pressures which compound how you feel, from finances to relationships. And you cannot escape the vitriol spread through social media and the news. The cry for change is reaching an all-time high now.

Asking for Help

The natural reaction is to want to ask someone for answers, typically a person who is involved with a faith-based, spiritual, or religious association. They will usually tell you to rely upon another being and this may or may not bring comfort as the conditions seem so out of control to so many, and if a supreme being or deity or source was already in control, wouldn't this entity already step in? Why must so many people plead or pray or beg before changes occur?

When people are told to trust and have faith, this generally means there isn't an answer available that those people are willing to hear or are ready to embrace. Could you imagine if more people accepted the idea the universe is "run" by a Collective Consciousness, not a supreme being, deity, source, or even "the universe" itself? It would be too much for most people to accept as it seems someone must be in charge or controlling all of us in some way now.

Yet the interesting thing is this: When someone is told to pray, they are being told to be quiet and listen. Without knowing it, they are practicing a method of tuning into the Collective Consciousness of Mankind or the living memories and active knowledge of all humans. When knowledge and insight is received, it is assumed a prayer was answered or there was divine intervention. But what happened is the person became receptive enough to receive wisdom available at any time and to anyone.

Here's What You Can Do

This is how a person can begin to initiate change: Tune out the noise and turn within. It's not easy to do when social media keeps us actively engaged in the outrage of the latest news and people's reactions, or we feel no escape from our own lives, but that's how it begins.

Now some spiritual teachers will state a person who is in pain can still be in pain but feel hopeful. A person who is unemployed, debt ridden, depressed, spiritually down, or any other number of devastating factors - can simply choose to think a different thought.

It is true that there is power in how and what we think, and we always have a choice. But you cannot be in the middle of life's conditions and decide new thoughts will in fact create new conditions. The phrase "thoughts become things" is misleading because there is something more to it: The thoughts. That's what the spiritual leaders do not teach. You need to find the thoughts from the Collective Consciousness of Mankind, not just state "I will feel better today".

So what are these thoughts? The thoughts that come from the Collective Consciousness of Mankind are ideas, plans, wisdom, inspiration, and so on.

Make Time to Listen When You Can

Find time to listen with your mind to tune out other thoughts. Some call it meditation. But you can write, paint, draw, walk, or do anything to get into your own zone, to tune out the noise of life, society, and technology. When you do this, just free flow your writing, drawing, or whatever you are doing. Have a question or two about life and wait for inspiration. Wait for it to arrive and it will. It will feel like inspiration, insight, creativity, and happiness most of all.

Use what insight you receive when you make time to listen to decide what steps to take to improve your life or make important decisions. This will allow your attitude to evolve, then your disposition, and before long, you will begin to find new ways of creating improvements in how you live.

You may not eliminate pain, debt, or an unfulfilling job all at once, but knowing you can find insight and wisdom on your own will give you a new sense of self-empowerment and self-confidence. Even a new method of coping with conditions can create a new outlook on your future.

Denzel Washington's Life Advice Will Change Your Future

Happiness: The Goal

Money can buy happiness in a sense, but only for a limited time! Let me explain. You see, money must be combined with the consciousness that knows how to use the money to benefit the person with the money. Money or anything else, just possessed for its own sake does not work, and even creates sadness by not being used productively. Indeed, real winning comes from using things right and being genuinely productive in every way that genuinely counts.
When I think of happiness and productivity, there is a shocker: I think of Ebenezer Scrooge, before and after the ghosts visited him in Charles Dickens story "A Christmas Carol". Sure, we can all hoard up wealth, but if we do not ultimately enjoy it or use it productively, what is it worth really? Nothing. This is why I always like to say that we must come to the realisation that wealth for the sake of "just having wealth" is not wealth. Using it productively, realistically and with expansion qualities is close to genuine wealth, but still not quite there. Being of genuine service and enjoying what you do genuinely in every way and creating a great living at it is there. That is where genuine wealth and happiness is. Sure, you can argue that "Are not lottery winnings without work except buying a ticket real wealth, too?" I would say, unless they are productively used right, they are not wealth. It is also rare that those lottery winners know what to do genuinely with a lot of money also. In fact, that is another case of wealth for the sake of wealth without consciousness in the cases where people end up poorer than before because they do not know what to do.
I am not against wealth, but, I am all for happiness and productivity combined with wealth.
Sure, I could say the standard, "get all you can" type article. Here, though, I want to get into the deeper aspects of wealth and happiness that actually work to make better lives and existences. Ebenezer Scrooge got his wake up call and this could be yours if you let it be. So, I will say that this a "get all you can and use it rightly as you can and must" article. That is what I mean. After all, in my humble opinion and my reality, genuine wealth is combined with happiness and productivity or it is the most abject and objective of poverty.

The One Thing Only 1% of People Do | TRY IT FOR 21 DAYS and Success Will Come!

For the Future You

Some things are so precious we need to find a safe place for them. And we need to be doubly careful we don't forget where we hid the prized possession. So many times I've done that; I've lost what I desperately wanted to be able to find.
I feel sure this is a possession you may want; it's a possession I value more than almost everything else. Beside God, my wife, my children and my family, this possession is about as valuable as they get.
Let me start with a story.
It involves an event that took place on October 4, 2003. About the worst day of my life, indeed it was a period of the worst days of my life. But this particular day an event occurred that saw my mental health spiral out of control.
I received news that, as a human being, you are never prepared to hear. When you hear that kind of news, there is a mixture of disbelief, numbness, anger, and emotional torment. What was already bad had become immensely worse. When the gravity of the situation hit me about 1 PM I began to react in ways that I could never have foreseen. The next few hours were perilous. The worst kind of thoughts were running through my mind. I was doing a lot of driving, yet I was hardly fit for it mentally. My mind was being bombarded and heart was being crushed. That night I didn't sleep. I don't think I slept next night either. That Sunday, October 5, was just abominable. Within days I was skating on thin ice mentally. And it all culminated in a massively acute mental breakdown on October 8. They were heady days, and October 9 and 10 were a cacophony of anxiety and hopelessness. This week that I depict here was unfathomably distressing, within a generally deep and distressed time.
That was 15 years ago today; to these very days.
As I look back, I know I didn't have the vision to hope for what I have today, because all I wanted was what I had just lost. I didn't recognise that I couldn't have that back. But had I hoped to be revived again, I would have hoped to be in place where I am today.
As I look back I am fond of the fact that, through faith, and not giving up, that I have arrived here, today, 5479 days later, and an earlier version of me believed enough to keep going. And now the future version of me from that day 15 years ago now has so much to be thankful for. An event happened today that confirmed my empty heart's longing those 5479 days ago; a sense of arrival, a kind of stake in the ground...
So, the possession is a gift from me to me, or from you to you.
When we sow our deeds of faith as obediently as we can, especially when there is no reward in the present, we pave the road in gold coloured bricks all the way to the future of version of us.
Each day is a brick. And as the days come and go the road is slowly but ever so surely paved. It reminds me of one of my favourite Bible verses that meant so much in those shocking days in 2003.
It says in Galatians 6:9 (NRSV):
"So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up."
For the future you, there is this gift that comes only by faith that steps as wisely and courageously as it can. The future you is a glorious and majestic reality. You will not fail to see the consummate blessing in it.
If you're undergoing an utter estrangement from yourself that we call grief, do keep stepping wisely, faithfully, courageously, for a new and more splendid day is coming. God will help you create it.
As bad as things get, keep believing that good things are coming. They are!

How to Speed Up Your Results

Do you ever find yourself in limbo... in that in-between place of knowing what you want, but it hasn't shown up yet? There's something you're trying to create, but the universe seems to be moving at a snail's pace. In that place between what you want, and waiting for its arrival, you often find yourself in doubt and indecision, and you sometimes end up feeling completely defeated.
Jackson Pruitt is a finance manager for a luxury auto dealership, and he was in exactly this type of situation. Not only is he naturally goal-oriented having been in sales most of his life, but financial targets are routinely encouraged for him at work. Walking the tight rope of what he wants to create and how he can speed up the process is a common theme for him (and anyone in sales or entrepreneurship).
Before talking about how we can speed things up, it helps to understand the anatomy of how things are manifested, so that we can unlock our hidden power and bring what we want to fruition.
This understanding begins with the knowledge there are two kinds of reality... vibrational reality and physical reality. The moment we crystallize an idea or a goal, it moves into vibrational reality. We might also call this the pool of possibilities... a holding tank... or a spiritual vault.
The point is, yes, there's a physical reality in things that we can see, and touch, and feel. But our manifestations are created in vibrational reality first, before they manifest into a physical experience.
So how do we speed up our results? Well, the first thing we have to do is put our desire into vibrational reality. And this is exactly what Jackson did. He began with a simple, clear thought about his desire.
Here's the anatomy of how things go from desire to manifestation:
Thoughts create reality.
It's an exact science.
And failure is impossible.
So think only thoughts of your desired outcome.
Our thoughts create a concept of what we want. When we think that thought, it instantly crystallizes in vibrational reality. Our only job at that point is to allow our desires to come TO us.
To speed up our results, the secret is to begin with a positive vibration. The strategy for doing this, as well as how to get past our doubts, worries, frustrations and impatience that can block our manifestations, are detailed further in this week's episode, so tune in!

Speed Learning: How To Learn Anything Fast In Half The Time?

To Have And Be

Each of us is given a different starting position in life. There are those born in abundance, those failing and those in the middle. This, for some, is the exact and simple reflection of the injustice of life. However, it is also true that from an economic statistics viewpoint, our starting conditions are only potentially important and numerically irrelevant. What really matters is what we do with what we have; therefore our ability to grow. A 100% profit is an equally deserving success, regardless of the initial availability of those who participate, which have in any case doubled.
This way of seeing things, which naturally applies to all levels of being and not just financially, gives us our current position, if we pause for a moment to analyze it, and the consequent future projection, if we continue to do what we are doing. When we evaluate our work and what we have achieved with this refined art of modeling our personality, comparing them to our initial possibilities, we know that the same economic statistics also apply to the life of every other human being. Evaluating the starting point is to lose sight of what really matters, which is our ability to grow.
To congratulate ourselves and our family, if we are born in abundance, or curse life if we are left to fail, or not knowing which way to go if we are born in the middle, is a waste of time and resources, when it lasts longer than necessary; that is to say, if it becomes the attitude or even the purpose of our life. Calculating then that we are a compound of different levels of awareness, even our qualities and talents are certainly differentiated; otherwise, we would all be the same. Here's why some of us have different propensities, destinies, and needs of the soul, which we could never measure, know and judge.
Our way of evaluating others should be the same with which we evaluate ourselves, considering progress and growth based on reciprocal starting positions. If we happen to have much, we must make good use of this, and if we happen to have little we must make good use of this all the same. The apparent difficulties are always related to the real ability to do the best possible with what we have, then to wisely administer our intrinsic wealth - whatever it is and always considered as our propensity of incarnation - and to realize our birth's individual possibility. The choice is clearly ours; stay seed or bloom, are the only two available options.

PROVE THEM WRONG - Motivational Video

What Success Really Means to Us?

Today, I was listening to a podcast about how to get rid of mediocrity in life... And sometimes it's difficult to do this, if we don't have a clear concept of the real meaning of success for us.

For me, success was at some point the feeling of being completely satisfied with my achievements and to reach certain goals that I pursued for a long time. However, I realised that after reaching this goal or certain accomplishment, that triumphant feeling of victory started to wear out just after some few days... Until it was gone.

And then, for some reason, I was not satisfied anymore and wanted something else... And then again and again..

Today, I realised that success could be something bigger than reaching certain goal or doing a considerable achievement that I was looking for a long time... Today I realised that success could be to lose fear and believe in you, whatever happened and enjoy the journey rather than the destination.

And you, what is your perception of success?

Let me know and feel free to comment!

Morning Motivation -What Successful People Do In the First 8 Minutes of Their Morning

Message From the Universe: Time for Its Manifestation

"If you were able to look back at your most brilliant successes, stunning comebacks, amazing catches, and smokin' ideas, and you were to find that virtually all of them seemed to materialize out of thin air, when you least expected them, and that they had exceeded even your greatest expectations at the time, how excited would you be about the new year and whatever else I've got up my sleeve?

Hubba, hubba -

The Universe"

As we are halfway into 2018, we tend to look at our accomplishment and determine what is left to do until year end. We look into the good and the bad, and some regret many decision made. Focusing on what is really important to tackle for the remainder of 2018 and take a step forward to make things happen. The reality is that all what you do today will seem little to you, but looking one year into the future, the changes are pretty massive. The key is to continuously taking these small steps as it is much easier to just give up. Make sure that giving up shouldn't ever be a part of your thoughts, at any given time.

Life isn't easy and no one really knows what's in store for them from now till the end of your existence. You may work your butt off but feel like you are walking backwards. Others may feel like they haven't really done much in this year but yet have advanced dramatically into their personal and professional life. It is not about how much you work, it is about how smart you work. Oh yes, let's not forget the "Being Lucky" part of the equation as well. Yes. I know not many like to hear the word lucky, and that is because many have had any luck in their life, so if they have to depend on it, they will certainly feel miserable for eternity. Luck is definitely an important ingredient that can change your present or future without you having any control. It is certainly very crucial for you to accept that fact and not fight it, just like trying to control human nature. Work on adapting, embracing the changes that come into your life and be grateful that it wasn't worst. There is a lot of great opportunities in store for you, and the key is to always keep moving forward, no matter what happens.
